The Kansas Electronic Watershed Library (KEWL) was developed as an Applied Leadership Project by members of the 2008 Kansas Environmental Leadership Program. The vision of the Applied Leadership Project Team was to promote healthy Kansas watersheds by creating a central point for organizing watershed/related information and resources.

The Kansas Electronic Watershed Library is intended to decrease the amount of time professionals spend creating and locating educational watershed materials for meeting, festivals, conferences and public gatherings. Environmental professionals who are involved with WRAPS implementation process are encouraged to use KEWL as a starting point for gathering materials to educate stakeholders on watershed issues and the WRAPS process. KEWL provides a means for organizations, professionals and stakeholders throughout Kansas to share watershed outreach materials through the free share-network.

There are two options for using the KEWL site:

Upload information you have developed and is not copyright protected and would like to post for others to modify for their local watershed needs to use in promoting healthy Kansas watersheds.

Download information developed and posted by others which you may modify for your local watershed needs to use in promoting healthy Kansas watersheds.
